Good Start to the County Championships for Yeovil Swimmers
The first session of Somerset County Championships 2012 took place this afternoon at Millfield Schools 50m pool and it was a great start for YDSC swimmers in the long distance events.
YDSC had by far the biggest turn out showing that our swimmers are extremely confident in taking on the long course, long distance events and we picked up 3 medals as well. John Bryne took home a silver in the12 years 800m, Elliott Carter finished 4th and Ben Card finished 7th in the Championship 1500m. There were also 11 PB's achieved by all our other swimmers competing a huge Well Done!
