Daniel Liu proudly displaying his ASA National silver & bronze medals

Yeovil swimmers Bronwyn Clifford and Daniel Liu are currently competing at their first ASA National Championships at the magnificant Ponds Forge pool in Sheffield. They are both thoroughly enjoying swimming in this highly intense and competitive atmosphere.

Bronwyn swam superbly in her 200 meters breaststroke narrowly missing her pb. She finished an excellent 13th and therefore was agonisingly close to the top-10 finish which secures a place in the evenings finals. Well done Bronwyn. She will be swimming in the 100 meters breaststroke tomorrow.

Daniel swam huge pb's to make both finals where he then swam exceptionally well to claim the bronze medal in the 200 meters butterfly and the silver medal in the 200 meters individual medley. Below you can see Daniel receiving his silver medal.

Daniel will be swimming in the 200 meters freestyle and 100 meters butterfly tomorrow, and the 400 meters individual medley on Sunday.
