On 28th September, Rosie King attended the Swim England South West Awards in Taunton as she had been shortlisted in the Young Volunteer of the Year category. Of all the categories, the Young Volunteer category had had the most entries so Rosie was both stunned and delighted to receive the award. Rosie currently helps with the Skills and Junior Skills squads on Sunday morning, and on Monday evening (when she is not volunteering in another role, working towards qualifying as a netball umpire).
Recently Lesley Parker put our name forward to Pulham Bingo Club for funding and we were lucky enough to be selected as a prize winner
In early July our Chairman, Martin Hooper went over to their village hall, did a short talk and accepted a payment of £500 on behalf of the club which can be put toward additional equipment. Alyssa Parker joined him on stage to accept the prize.
