Welfare and Safeguarding

At our club, the welfare and safeguarding of all members is everyone’s responsibility. We are committed to creating the safest possible environment in which every swimmer can enjoy the sport and achieve their goals.

We ensure that all club members are listened to and that any concerns are responded to promptly and appropriately.

We value the strong partnerships we have built between swimmers, parents/carers, coaches, and volunteers. Maintaining these positive relationships helps us resolve concerns quickly and supports our friendly, family‑focused club atmosphere.

Our Welfare Principles

Our safeguarding policies aim to ensure that:

  • All swimmers are safe and protected from harm.
  • All swimmers feel healthy, supported, and secure.
  • Swimmers, coaches, parent/scarers, and volunteers understand the standards of behaviour set out in our Code of Conduct.

Remember: Safeguarding children is EVERYBODY’S responsibility.
