Yeovil District Swimming Club holds its prestigious Spring Fling Open Meet each year. This meet has grown into one of the most popular swim meets in the South West and it’s fantastic to see clubs from far and wide travel to participate in this fantastic weekend of competition.
The 2026 meet will be held at Millfield Swimming Pool on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March. This is a Short Course Level 3 meet and racing will commence at around 9.00am on both days. Remember this is one of the last swim meets for swimmers to try and qualify for regional competitions!
Upper time limits will be in place, and more information about this is available in the Meet Pack. The Spring Fling is a scratch meet.
Entries that are faster than the upper time limit will be considered (exhibition swimmers), on a ‘first come first served basis’, once the closing date for entries has passed and until the number limit in that event has been reached. Exhibition Entries will not be eligible for medals but the times achieved will be recognised.
The YDSC Spring Fling Open Meet 2026 opens for entries on 9.00am 2nd Feb 2026, with a closing date of midnight on Sunday 1st March 2026.
